Financing Due Diligence and Risk Analysis

The staffing needs of any investment review vary from project to project based on the time allotted for review, the materials required to review, the overall size (cost) of the investment, the number of investors (shared risk), the project technology, and any contractual or legal risks associated.  

  • In smaller investment cases where there is adequate time for review, a single EPIC consultant may be recommended.  
  • In larger investment cases where time may be critical, a due diligence EPIC consultant team may be recommended.  

In either case, the management of time spent on critical issues that may impact the overall value being offered for the investment is monitored and managed closely. 


Energy Project Development Consulting

The staffing needs for a development program will a single EPIC development consultant with managed subcontractors for engineering, environmental, interconnection, and other disciplines as needed and especially when needed to control development spending until schedule dictates.  Development efficiency is tied to schedule milestone goals.


​Energy Project Investment Consulting will make every effort to only suggest the minimum staff needed to carry out a successful due diligence and risk analysis mission.  EPIC can make use of your current staff expertise if desired and available, or suggest staff as may be required from a network of very experienced individuals that have worked together in the past on similar project investment reviews.  A budget for the due diligence review will be provided and closely monitored.  We have competitive rates given our degree of experience.

From an initial consultation and understanding the parameters of the investment, materials and timeframe, EPIC would provide a proposed due diligence plan of action and budget for review and approval.  EPIC can discuss variations to the suggested plan, incorporation of current staff and any focus areas that are felt to be sensitive to the investment.
